Search for the Cuckoo!

So today I set off in search of the Cuckoo bird, I had been told of it being in a certain location, Off I went. I heard it sounding it's call see video below


But just as I crept slowly towards where I could here it perched silence happened, I need to go out early morning and set up my hide. I will not be beaten :)


Carrying on with my walk I saw, (One person named it a SAS rabbit) A rabbit with a load of straw/hay in its mouth and the way it just sat there looked very much like it was going for the camouflage look See Pic Below:

Lots of baby Rabbits (Kittens) about today and everywhere I seemed to point the camera another one was there....

Fun Facts About Rabbits

  1. These Professionals of hearing can turn their ears 180 degrees.

  2. That impressive rotation can tell exactly where the location of the sound came from.

  3. Rabbits have almost 360 degrees of vision but funny enough are born with their eyes closed

  4. A baby rabbit is called a kit a female is called a doe and a male is called a buck.

  5. Rabbits are very effective baby-makers! Mother rabbits are pregnant for between 28-31 days, giving birth to up to 14 baby rabbits – called kittens – in a single litter. There are over 45 million rabbits in the UK alone!
