Owl, Be Back

Good to be out again, and with the nice weather making an appearance I thought i'd venture out and see how the local barn owls are getting on.

Sat in it's little hideaway not many folk have seen him.

With a little shake of his wings and a little dance he was ready for the off. Just one more thing to do before flight.

That's right the call of nature ha ha.

He's a quick video of the little guy chilling for a while.

Then off he goes hunting for his tea

His hunt was successful and he either caught a Vole or mouse for his tea. He will either store this food or eat it in private depending on whether he is catching for his owlets.
