Hunting In Pairs

Well tonight we watched 2 x Barn Owls quartering the fields in a pair, obviously Mr & Mrs and possibly storing food for the up and coming owlets :)

Watching from a distance it was clear to see their skills in spotting prey from such a distance.

Then on our way home we stopped off at a location we used to visit last year, to be blessed with seeing perhaps last years fledgling utilizing their parents old haunt..

Resting for a while.......READY

SET...

GO....

And then a sure sign that spring is just around the corner :)
