Close up of the Owl tonight

So arrived late evening tonight to a spot near to where I live and spotted my 1st Golden Plover.

When a male Barn Owl appeared so I started to watch the him quartering the fields at my location, hovering over the long grass waiting for any movement

All of a sudden, with a quick sharp turn he spots something and prepares to dive.

With his talons pointing down he makes the decision to go in

With another quick glance down the moment has passed,

and he then decides to re-adjust his wings and try again.

He turns his head spots me by the wall and then flies over to the other side of the field to hunt "Busted".

So it was now time for him to sit by the wall, have a rest for a while whilst the quick rain shower passes, and even creates a beautiful rainbow above his head.

On my way home to leave him be, Can you spot him?????
