Another capture for the Barn Owl

On spotting the owl tonight, he just sat there for about 5 minutes watching the surrounding area and floor undoubtedly scrutinizing the area for food and predators,

We were then lucky to see success for Mr Barn Owl. He caught what looked like either a juicy Vole or Mouse, Unlucky for the mouse or vole but appreciated by the owl.

He then took off back to one of his favourite spots to sit & eat its catch.

As you can see from the picture below the owl had moved its catch whilst in flight from its beak to it's talons so that it did not impede his views on the way home.

I'm pretty sure the Heron, who was stood in the field watching all the action threw his arms in the air and shouted Bravo.... If Only ha ha..
